Finally got to see it yesterday...
I must say, I thought LOTR was a great movie, but had no desire to see it more than once at this point in time. I bought the EE, but haven't yet watched it.
TTT was, IMHO, a far more entertaining movie. I'm already trying to make plans to go see it again. It was just THAT good.
Jackson hasn't stayed true to the books 100% ,
but I can't complain too much. Artistic license 
I'll be anxiously awaiting my chance to give Peter Jackson another $70 of my dollars for BOTH DVD editions
TTT was, IMHO, a far more entertaining movie. I'm already trying to make plans to go see it again. It was just THAT good.

But it's a film not a big-arse book so he has to make choices.
So far his choices are mostly OK by me.
