In a lesser of two evils scenario, which would be the better blind purchase? Ballistic definitely has gotten the worst reviews, but it's rare to see an R-rated action flick these days, which is piqueing my curiosity.

Definitely XXX. I haven't seen Ballistic(because i don't want to) but XXX kicks @ss. I've already seen the DVD(my buddy works at BBV) and it's impressive.There is no DTS track but the sound and cinematography is excellent. I wish i saw this at the theater. The features do not lack(check the review). AS far as Ballistic goes... RENT it first!!!

I've seen XXX and Ballistic. XXX was much more enjoyable as an action flick than Ballistic. I actually thought Ballistic was decent, but nothing that I'd want in my DVD collection.

Both are great in terms of action sequences and explosions. But XXX is better as far as everything else.

How about: Ballistic: XXX Vs. Sever.

Even Pdjennings won't be buying Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever.....

I have only seen Ballistic, so I'll throw my vote in for XXX.
