Hot rumor number 1:
It has been confirmed that Peter Jackson will be opening a school for motion picture directors in early 2004. It will concentrate on plot development, script writing, casting, and of course proper merchandising techniques.

I'm sorry, but usually film schools are a big waste of your green. Just get out there and shoot. experience goes a long way and all you can really get from a school is a network of people to talk to if you are hard up for some work.

Don't you think George kind of ruined the entire Star Wars universe with idiotic creatures who were merely there to increase the merchandising possiblities? (Jar- Jar action figures which no one really wanted).
This really could have something amazing that touched several generations. Instead we got two or three 'decent' movies and then a big joke and waste of time.

Maybe talking about star wars in a LOTR's forum is like an obvious way to get flamed, but seriously, why all the dissing on the movies? Not to mention the whole yapping about how it has ruined your star wars experiece? Just stick with the original, Lucas has changed them, but versions of the original are still out there if you folks just stop your complaining and actually looked for them.
