And regardless of whether you hate her or not, the woman, produces, writes and sings her own music. I've also seen her live once and if that wasn't rock, I don't know what is. Sure, it's no Muffs or L7, but it's definitely rock.
You were one of those folks that threw beer on me while I was trying to catch some "zzzz's" during the horsey-faced woman's set back in the late 90's, weren't you?

Guys, please! I've separated off some problematic posts that were taking the thread into areas that might eventually have called for tougher adminstrative action. Lets keep this civil in future. [Benedict]

Funny. No, but why the hell would you be at one of her shows if you hated her so much?

Also, goat....horse....what's your obsession with farm animals? And still waiting to hear who you think should be in her place on the cover.

Er . . . maybe because I paid my $40 to see Radiohead as the opener.

Incidentally, why all the venom squirted in my direction Daytripper? Did I accidentally kick your horse?

Er.....and then you were held at gun point to stay during Alanis? I've gone to plenty of concerts where I've left after the opening act. If I hated the headliner that is.

If I chose the music I listened to based on what the artists looked like, my collection would be about 75% fewer. Grow up grunter. Enough with your Beavis and Butthead like remarks.

Yawn. Your retorts are as boring as they are predictable. Seems to be the case when someone can't carry on an adult conversation. When you want to discuss women in rock, or who you think should replace Alanis, get back to me.

Incidentally, I'm not even a huge fan of Alanis. But she certainly deserves to be on the cover instead of Britney. As does Chrissie Hynde, Liz Phair, Juliana Hatfield, Aimee Mann, Toni Halliday, Kim and Kelly Deal, Tonya Donnelly, Kim Gordon, Tracy Bonham, Courtney Love, Siouxsie Sioux, PJ Harvey, Shirley Manson, Kristen Hirsh, Deborah Harry, Sam Phillips, Luscious Jackson, the late (great) Kirsty MacColl....to name a few.

I think people should be banned for obvious joke accounts. I mean come on how much of this shit do we have to put up with? It was funny at first but come on, at a certain point you're just wasting bandwidth.

Boston George, the only thing I disagree with in your post is that it was funny at first...

The Barbara Streisand vs. Bjork thread was already closed probably for being a joke. This one's just as obvious.
