Black Crowes fans - new Chris Robinson solo album is out...

... and it's pretty good.

It sounds like groovy Black Crowes with some very solid guitars - pretty soulful.

It comes with a limited dvd.

Now for that Rich Robinson project...

I finally picked it up today. I like it pretty well, although there are a few songs on there I'm not sure I'll be able to adjust to. "Katie Dear" is my favorite. I just love the piano in that track.

Make of that what you will. The fact that Chris Robinson had no involvment with the Black Crowes Live CD and that they are releasing solo material makes it look pretty ominous though.

I have this on order and am looking forward to hearing it, more so now that I have heard good things.

From what I understand, Kate Hudson has become the Yoko Ono of the band.
