I enjoy BMachine, which is very Depeche Mode influenced, but has some very fine original ideas. I think A Different Drum, which is a synth pop label, should have something that interests you.

No offense big whoppa, but you really need to expand your horizons. Synthpop is very much alive - perhaps not on the airwaves, but who listens to the radio anyway??

Some great synth bands to check out:

De/vision
Echo Image
Mesh
Seabound
Toy
Wolfsheim

(to name just a few!!)

As was suggested, check out the label A Different Drum - it has a huge selection of synthpop artists. They also produce several compilation/mix/sampler CD's which are a good start to finding bands that you may or may not be interested in.

Also, bands like Depeche, PSB, New Order, The Human League and Erasure have all released new albums in the past two years.

I kind of like Joy Electric too, but I get tired of how cheesy the lyrics are.

And the fake British accent? But some of their songs are pretty good.

Some of the songs are really good; I like that he's a purist and uses only analog equipment.
