Just wondering if any other DVDTalkers drool over Alicia Keys.. Sexy-Lookin! And incredibly talented.. I wonder how her and Aguilera's song will turn out

I like her voice. She's a major talent. I can't say I like her looks too much. She tries to have the thuggish, "Gangsta Love" look and I think she's too pretty to pull that off...

She is extremely beautiful and talented BUT I have to agree with the thug comment. Every time she opens her mouth in an interview I feel like she's doing damage to her career/image. I hate when you like an artist and then they come across as inarticulate babbling bozos...especially when you feel like they're not.

I heard her doing an interview once and she was talking non-gangsta like. Very well-spoken and didn't try to be a thug. I guess she's just trying to keep her "street credibility" and not look like a sellout.

I always figured Keys never chose to go urban... it was more like that's who she was. She did grow up in the Bronx or somethin', and for what reason should she change the way she talks? Just so she can keep it classy? I believe A.Keys is just trying to "keep it real." Sure, the times she says things such as "aight" and "holla" can seem a bit of comedic sometimes, but I think it's just a part of her urban-soul style.

I started reading an interview with her in Rolling Stone last year and I was thinking the same thing.

In the new Eve video she is way hot. I don't care what she's tryin' to pull in that video, she is flat out goregous.

She's most definitely hot. Body 'n all. But she needs to let up on them braids. They're gettin tired and she looks much better with her hair relaxin'.
