Today's CDs (9/11)
I'm curious what people brought in to listen to today, and if those choices have anything to do with today's anniversary. For me:
Low -- Trust
Low -- Things We Lost in the Fire
Galaxie 500 -- Copenhagen
Wilco -- Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Talking Heads -- Fear of Music
These choices were (subconsciously) intentional, I think.

The Stone Roses - "Turns Into Stone"
Everclear - "Sparkle and Fade"
Flogging Molly - "Alive Behind the Green Door"
The Smiths - "Strangeways Here We Come"
The Newsboys - "Take Me To Your Leader"
The Replacements - "All For Nothing"
Sugar - "Copper Blue"
The White Stripes - "White Blood Cells"
Lou Reed - "Ecstacy"
This morning was spent listening to Howard Stern's rebroadcast of his 9/11/01 show. Pretty grim stuff.

Bruce Springsteen - The Rising
"Tango Argentina"
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
The Springsteen album wasn't really planned -- I got it for my birthday, and today was pretty much the first chance I had to listen to it. Though as I thought about it yesterday, I realized that it was apropos. Good stuff, though I thought the "My City of Ruins" was better on the live "America: A Tribute to Heroes" CD.
