I'm just a fan letting others know that this is finally out. His first solo album in 20 years! If you don't know who Kasim is go to http://www.kasimsulton.com and look at the impressive discography. Most notably he is known for his work with Todd Rundgren in the band Utopia. As for his music...all i can say is go here: http://www.spheresound.com to listen to the lead-off track and to purchase. Even if your not going to purchase the cd, at least give the song "Sacrifice" a listen, and post comments back here.

I gave it a listen also but it was not really my thing.

I don't mind "pop" but this track didn't stand out particularly to my ears. Vaguely reminiscent of some Saga I heard a long time back; probably the voice and the synth in the background!
