LA Times names Tupac's killer
Today they released the name of the "real" killer for some reason....a big shock that he's dead so they don't have to worry about libel 
You have to register to read the article but here's the main part:
"The shooting was carried out by a Compton, Calif., gang called the Southside Crips to avenge the beating of one of its members by Shakur a few hours earlier. Orlando Anderson, the Crip whom Shakur had attacked, fired the fatal shots. Las Vegas police discounted Anderson as a suspect and interviewed him only once, and then briefly. He was later killed in an unrelated gang shooting.
The murder weapon was supplied by New York rapper Notorious B.I.G., who agreed to pay the Crips $1 million for killing Shakur. Notorious B.I.G. and Shakur had been feuding for more than a year, exchanging insults on recordings and at award shows and concerts. B.I.G. was gunned down six months later in Los Angeles. That killing also remains unsolved. "

Isn't Orlando Anderson the guy they found in a house in Vegas with a bullet in the head execution style?
Anyways, this probably is just a story to gain some attention to the paper. This is very very old news, and the part about Big paying the Crips to kill him is pure speculation and pure BS.

I was looking for this on the LA site last nite but didn't want to register.
Orlando Anderson was thought to be the killer for several years now. I was hoping it would be something new.

As far as the paying of 1million by Biggy...do they have any records of this? Does his bank account say "minus 1 million" somewhere on it?
Is there any proof or is the LA Times just taking anything that a gang called the Crips says as fact?

Yeah, the big news here isn't that Tupac's killer was named, it's that revalation that it was the result of a hit by Biggie. That IS a bombshell, if true. I'll have to read the whole article.
I wonder if this info was obtained during the making of the new documentary "Tupac and Biggie" which I've heard is very detailed with interviews of almost everyone involved.
