Any Mission U.K. fans here?
Why didn't these guys ever blow up like say, The Pixies? They are one of my favorite hard rock bands of all time!

I love 'em and will probably be going to see them play on the 14th.
I really don't know why they didn't ever, how do you say, "blow up." Mayhap their sound just isn't far reaching for some reason. Then again, there's also all those diehard, bitter Sisters fans who feel like they can't follow The Mission U.K. based on principle or something.

Speaking of The Sisters of Mercy, I haven't heard any of their music aside from This Corosion or whatever. Do you recommend them to me, somebody who loves MissionUK, U2, The Cure?

The Sisters of Mercy are a great band. I'd definitely recommend picking up some of their stuff.
I'd suggest starting with the album Floodland, and if you like that get First and Last and Always.
