OMGF this is TERRIBLE!! I can't buleeve someone would do such a thingz! We need to all pitch in and get Johnny a new guitar!! I need more Johnny!!!!

It sucks but I think since they got the video tape of it, and hell, anyone stupid enough to sell a hot item like this will get caught FAST. officials can check ebay and pawn shops. simple, with this wide release of info on it, it is not going to be lost long, then again, people get shyte stolen from everyday. he was guitarist for the smiths, I think he could afford a new one so no tears from me.

Theft of Star Guitars is pretty common. Steve Vai had his whole touring collection stolen back in the 80's.

The Deftones had their whole van stolen w/ all their gear in it either last year or the year before. That's really got to suck.

another mention is System of a down's little problem when they were just trying to give a free show in L.A.
ended up that the parking lot to the place couldn't hold enough people, so some were turned back.. riot soon broke out and the fans stole tons of equipment from them. really really sucks.
