Prodigy DVD Released Today -- "Baby's Got a Temper"

Has anyone else seen this video? It's probably the best I have seen all year. Very controversial yet captivating. Great song as well.

It was banned by MTV.

I'd eventually like a video collection. They're up there in video quality.

I'm a bit lost on why the video would be banned. There is some (humerous) suggestive sexual content, but i've seen more in music videos which do the rounds regularly on MTV.

Perhaps the drug references in the song alone got it banned. I doubt it's the models wearing pasties milking the cows. Perhaps also the suggested sexuality, as you mentioned (i.e., the milking of the cow).

I am constantly amazed about what sorts of things are censored by MTV. I recall the similar controversy that Prodigy stirred up when their last video "Smack My Bit@h Up" was also frowned upon. So much for supporting 'artistic freedom and self-expression'.

The Smack My Bitch Up video depicted the main character snorting coke, getting drunk, feeling up and hitting men and women, shooting up heroin, throwing up, naked strippers, smashing car windows, naked lesbian sex, and a naked woman.

I think it was a no brainjer on MTV's part, it wasw fun to watch it uncensored on MTV2 that 1 time .

I'd have to say that their videos are pretty much the only thing relevant that they've done since 1994. For a guy like Liam Howlett who is incredibly talented and pretty much owned the world at one point, they have done absolutely nothing interesting since Jilted. Liam is the master of hardcore breakbeats and he pretty much tossed it away when they "promoted" Keith Flint to do vocals on a few songs and released Fat Of The Land. What a completely ridiculous effort that was. Now more than 5 years later, what should be a breakthrough release is complete trash with Keith yelling about his facination with Rohypnol. The dub is the only tolerable thing about it. A shame, really....

and if you have a region-free dvd player, the video is also obviously on the UK DVD-Single (Reg. 2)
