Another Borders 50% off 1 Music CD coupon 8/9 - 8/15

In today's Washington Post section A4, there's a coupon for 50% 1 Music CD (good August 9-15). (original price discounted, exludes mulit-disc sets).

Happy Shopping!

Hey Chris,

Hop over to the "Hot Deals" forum. Under the thread with the same name, a fellow talker has posted a scan.

There is language at the bottom of the coupon about "original coupon must accompany purchase", so a printout copy may not work.

Does anyone know if the Houston Chronicle has this coupon?

It was in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the other day.

We tried to use it today, but it was eventually revealed that they would only take the 50% off of the FULL price, and not any sale price... in this case, the full price was, of course, almost $20 (on sale for $14). After all the waiting and ignorance from the salesperson, we left in frustration without buying.

If anyone cares, here's a clearer picture of the coupon:

I've used four printout copies so far with no problems.

Oh boy - does this one work!!

From the LA Times printout of the ad, I got an $8 copy of Death Cab for Cutie's "Photo Album" at the Deerfield, Illinois Borders.

I'm like a kid in a candy store. If only I'd known about the promotion a few days earlier.

I'm going to print off a copy of the coupon to use again tonight on my way home and perhaps a few for tomorrow.
