Saint Etienne : New Album -- Finisterre

I've been a fan of Saint Et's since '93. Their latest album "Finisterre" is due out 09.30.2002 [as an import]. In the US they're signed with Sub Pop, but there's no mention of the upcoming album. This wouldn't be the first time a St Et disc is available as an IMPORT only. "the Misadventures of Saint Etienne" was only available as a Japanese import.

Anyways...i've had the pleasure of listening to "Finisterre" and i think it's pretty solid. It's not necessarily an album i'd start with if I wasn't a fan. [that would be any one of the THOUSAND "greatest hits" compilations that've been released

] I played a couple tracks on my radio show last nite, and the feedback seemed positive so who knows...

Hopefully they'll finally get the stateside success they deserve.

I really liked the 90s semi-hit "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" and the one that Paul van Dyke remixed for them, can't remember the name of it.

They're pretty cool!

According to Amazon.com Finnisterre is scheduled to drop in the US on October 22nd. It'll be out two weeks earlier in the UK [For those who can't wait

The DVD is out. It's a r2 DVD, so make sure your DVD player is regionless.

uh? like what's the tracklisting/videos on the DVD? Amazon.co.uk doesn't seem to list them.

General St. Etienne question:

I've been trying to get the "Misadventures Of..." album for a YEAR now, without success.
Tried amazon twice, both times they told me they couldn't get one. Nothing on ebay either.

ANY ideas, where I could get one? It's basically their only (regular) album I don't have.
