Dance song on the radio. Something about "heaven"

It's a female singing and she is saying something about "Your love is all that I need.... .......We're in heaven"

It's got an up tempo beat and just need to know who this is

Thanks!

If it's what i'm thinking of, it's a cover of Bryan Adams' song "Heaven".

I think the artist is Flavour Of the Minute.

Seriously...i don't know who the artist is. They're SO interchangable.

grunter trivia factoid: the original version of Bryan Adams' "Heaven" was my high school's junior prom theme.

Personally, I was pushing for the Psychedelic Furs' song of the same name. But I got out-voted.

You're thinking of "Don't Say Goodbye"

it is actually by DJ sammy AND Yanou. Oddly, I hate the original, and think it is really cheesy, but really enjoy DJ Sammy & Yanou - Heaven (Green Court Remix). I also hear that cosmic gate is working on a remix, which should be really good.

LX98Civic , if you like techno cover songs, download some Dune. Similar female vocals, and tons of covers.

I posted something about this song a few eeks ago. However it was more disgust for it than praise. My reactions in certain parts of my post may have been a little too much. Whenever it comes on the radio I definately prefer to hear static for the 3-4 min period.

That and the Dirty Vegas song from the car ad are really the only songs on the radio that I can't stand. Honestly it pisses me off whenever I hear them.

If you're still a fan of the Furs, check out Assemblage 23's cover of "Love My Way" - absolutely brilliant.

Also, if anyone liked Green Court's mix of DJ Sammy's "Heaven", do check out more of their stuff!

They also produced a killer remix of Sylver's "Forever In Love" if you're interested and you can track it down.

If you like techno and house drop me an email ([email protected]). I can give you an extensive list of things to check out. I have about 1,500 records that I'm converting to mp3s. I could hook you up with quality techno/house music if anyone is interested. And I'm not talking about this cheesy sh*t that gets played out on the radio. No offense to those who like it.

People to look for:
Richie Hawtin -his new cd "CE Closer to the Edit" is top notch
Swayzak
Blue Six
Sutekh
Stewart Walker
V-Wreck
...

Who is the girl in the vocals lead in the DJ Sammy's "Heaven" video? That's not Yanou is it? Friend said it was a girl named Do short for Dominique or something.

I am temped to say Eyra Gail but Eyra is a brunette and in a different version. Thanks.

I have the new album and think it's OK - very routine. There are some great instrumental-only tracks, however.

DJ Sammy has covers of "California Dreamin" (ugh) and another Bryan Adams song, "Boys of Summer."

"Boys of Summer" is a Don Henley song, BTW. I don't like this remake of "Heaven" because it's very generic. It's the same old dance beat driven remake as others like Madhouse's "Like a Prayer." That crap really gets to me even though I love electronica. There is so much that is good music, but to the people who only get exposed to it on the radio, then they think it's all crap.
