Anyone know when the next Fiona Apple ablumn coming out?

I loved When the Pawn... but I really havent heard any news about her since. Just wondering if she has a new albumn coming out anytime soon or is she working on any other projects?

I've heard (according to a fan site I don't remember) that she's working on the new album and is hoping for a Fall/Winter release.

It's been toooooooooooooooo long, dang it.

Why does it seem like the artists you wanna hear from take SO DAMN LONG to release discs, yet the crap seems to surface really quick?

Because a real artist works on quality not quantity. Plus they don't have a team of songwriters doing the writing for them.

Sometimes an artist gets really inspired and the words and music just flow...however most of the good music comes from life experiences, so they have to get out and experience it.

I know your question was rhetorical but...

Right, as much as I hate to admit it I'd rather wait 2-3 years for an artist to be inspired to write a song that means something. Fiona is great, I loved her first album and was prepared to be thoroughly disappointed with the second one. Especially after I heard Fast As You Can (which later grew on me). Turned out to be awesome. Not sure which is best, I think I'd have to go with Tidal, they're both so different.

Anyway, I guess the answer to your question is "not soon enough!"
