Say what you will about Dolly Parton's Led Zeppelin cover...

..of "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" I think it's sounds GREAT. I mean it's a kinda new take on a song we've all heard 8,000,000,000 times. Put it this way, I've walked into music stores with signs in the guitar department that say "Please, no Stairway to Heaven".

I don't have a link to audio but if you listen with an open mind it's pretty cool. I'm not sure if she played the guitar , the guitar parts sound good on this BTW, but she has been known to pick a mean "gee-tar" for those of you who don't know.

I can't wait to hear it. On a similar note, her last album "Little Sparrow" she did a cover of "Shine" by Collective Soul- which I liked much better than the original, if that tells you anything.

Rock on Dolly!

It is so bad at my local music stores (Mars & Guitar Center) that I order everything I need online now. These kids in there playing really bad...really loud and the staff just lets them do it.

When I went to buy my new bass amp they had to set me up in the stock room so I could hear the damn thing.

I haven't heard her version of Stairway but I am intrigued...I must find it.

Also pick up Little Sparrow if you are into Parton. Great album
