Which Version of "With a little help from my friends" do you think is better?

The Beatles' version, or Joe Cocker's? Even though I love both versions, Joe Cocker's is so much more powerful sounding. There's something about his voice and tone of singing that add to it more than what the Beatles did with it.

Also, if you have heard both versions of this, which version of "She came in through the bathroom window" do you like better? Beatles' or Cocker's?
This one is a toughie for me, but I have to go with Cocker's. The Beatles did it great, and so did Cocker. But, I think the way Cocker sings the part "didn't anybody tell her..." is amazing.

Joe's is good until the backup singers start taking over. It goes downhill from there. If it weren't for the backup singers, then I'd have had a much hader time deciding.

Oh, the Beatles didn't sing it, Ringo did. The Beatles performed it.

Joe's version is too overwrought (though as the Wonder Years' theme song, it sounds great).

Beatles all the way, especially when the John and Paul harmonies kick in ("Do you need anybody...").

As for "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window", Beatles version, no contest.

No contest. Beatles all the way. Agree with the Cocker version being a bit too much.

I always liked Joe's better -- probably the only time I think someone did a Beatles song better than the Beatles.

Definitely Beatles. I agree with Andalusia that the "do you need anbody" parts are the best.

Beatles. It's meant to be a *humble* song I've always thought and Cocker's, while nice, takes it too far in the overwrought direction.

I do like Cocker's version; I've even heard it live...But, I've gotta go with the Beatles.

I really dont see how if you've ever seen Joe Cocker's version you can vote for the Beatles one! It does happen and this time to the Beatles, the remake is better than the original version.

I just don't know how Cocker was able to do it at Woodstock and not bust a blood vessel!

Did you forget to list Brazil '66 (or were they '77 then?)?
