Their most commercially successful and their best, IMO.

Vitalogy was the only one I could really get into. "Corduroy" and "Better Man" are two outstanding songs.

For me it all begins and ends with Vitalogy. The best of the batch and all down hill after that.

No Code bar none - best album ever made.

After that, it hardly makes any difference to me - they're all great, but I'd probably go:

1) No Code
2) Vitology
3) Vs.
4) Ten
5) Yield
6) Binaural

3. Vitalogy
4. Binaural
5. No Code
6. Yield

Not much ground seperates these as I love them all.

Umm... no.

How could an album with Tremor Christ, Last Exit, Immortality, Spin the Black Circle, and Corduroy suck monkey balls? Hell, while we're at it, how could any album suck monkey balls? That's disgusting.

Most people hated No Code when it first came out and that's because it's not a Top-40ish sounding record.

You have to listen to it and it keeps getting better and the lyrics are terrific.

It's still near the bottom of my PJ album list but they're all good.

The info on the new albums November release is on the band's official site at sony music.

Let's Play Ball!

Stepping up to the plate: the new album. Pearl Jam's new album, produced by Adam Kasper and Pearl Jam, is now scheduled for release in November of 2002. Brendan O'Brien has worked his mixing magic and things went great. Next up will be creating the artwork, deciding the album name and then the tracklisting. The new album does include a guest artist...Ed's friend, Boom, is playing keyboards on some tracks, some piano, some organ. As long as things keep moving right along, we should have it in our hot little hands before year's end! A glance at the scouting report shows that the rarities album is still happening but it'll be released next year now. It'll be a mix of live and studio tracks and there's a possibility that it could be a double CD.
