Operation Flashpoint PC Anyone play?
Has anyone played Operation Flashpoint for the PC. Whats it like? Is it a FPS or do you control all aspects of battle? Thanks.

In a lot of missions you have control over a squad or a tank squadron. In some missions you go solo though and those missions somewhat resemble Rainbow 6. I say you give the game a shot. It's not the best game but it is a unique experience.

if your into rainbow six, it's much like that.
You mainly go as a group. Very nice in multi player using other friends as a team to take out the enemy. very sweet like that.

It is an FPS, but you can also hop into vehicles. I've heard it called an "infantry simulator," because it's very difficult/realistic, almost to the point of throwing-your-keyboard-out-the-window frustration. It's a good game, but not the best.

yeah, the game is tough as it pretty much is a war sim. very tough, but like i said before, in a co-op game where you have live back up, the game could be very fun.
