I just picked this up at BBV and started playing 2 player co-op mode. On the first level in the Junkyard I was driving and went onto the repair station and then I got stuck, my car disappeared and I couldn't move. My nephew was still able to play and destroyed all the cars and then we didn't know what else to do. I read some FAQ's and jumped on top of the crusher, but the level never ended. Is there something else we need to do, and why did I get stuck?

Either you weren't actually playing co-op, or the game got screwed up when you got stuck.
