Maybe check sega.net for more details? They used to have a list of online games when I used to play on SegaNet.
I doubt most games have anybody online anymore, your best bet for finding some people is the Sega Sports games, such as NFL2k1, NFl 2k2, and I bet Phantasy Star Online ver1/ver2 still has players.

If anyone's playing NFL2K1, fire me an e-mail and let me know when you'd like to play. I don't want to shell out for all the PS2 accessories right now.

I think that sega.net is free for the rest of the year and after that they are closing up since the other 3 are going online. I have seen lots of auctions lately for the broadband adapter. I would hate to spend 80+ for it to only be able to use it for couple of months.

As of August 1, 2002, we are ending our Dreamcast subscription service and opening up SegaNet servers to all online gamers. Dreamcast users will be able to enjoy free unlimited head-to-head online gameplay on SegaNet through the end of 2002. At that time, Sega will shift focus to supporting new online titles for other platforms, and servers for Sega-published Dreamcast games may close down.

"Servers may close down".
Then again, they may not. Long live the Dreamcast!
I hear even if servers close down Unreal and Quake 3 and perhaps a few others would still be playable online. Can anyone confirm that?
