Garage Sale Deals?
Just wanted to hear if anyone has found any great deals on video games at garage sales. I'll start it off, went to a couple of neighborhood sales this weekend and picked up a NES and 20 games including zelda, super mario (1,2,3) gun for 25 bucks. She had 50 on it but I asked if she would take less and she shot out 25 I scooped it up. 2 houses down found snes and 2 games for 15 talked down from 20. I asked both parties if I could return if didn't work both said yes. I quickly ending shopping and ran home to check if consoles worked. Both did and spend afternoon in throwback heaven. These take the place of my dc and ps that I traded in last week on the gc. I was so happy!

A few weeks ago I scored a box of 25 Atari 2600 carts for $10.00. There were 4 or 5 that I needed and and a few with better labels than some of the ones I have.
Before that, I hadn't had a good Atari find in a while... Not like the massive finds I had in '95-'96, before everyone got full of nastalgia and started collecting too.

Last summer I found a GREAT deal at a garage sale: A SNES system with 18 games for $30. And they weren't just any games, most of them were great ones: Final Fantasy III, Earthbound, Super Metroid, Star Fox, Tetris Attack, and all three Donkey Kong Country games. All of the games were in great shape, most of them had manuals, and a few of them had strategy guides too. Considering I rarely go to garage sales, I know I was very very lucky that day.

Man, I wish I could find Dragon Force at a garage sale, or anywhere else for $50 or under. The cheapest copies on the net run for $100-150, because it was a great, but scarce game, for a system that was very scarce in homes (Saturn).

4 NES Systems with 5 guns, 10 controller, and about 30 games for $35. This was from a few houses, but that is what I ended up with for the day.
