Need help finding N64 games for 5-yr old girl
I want to buy my niece (5) and nephew (4) a used N64 system from Ebay, but most auctions are for adult level games (sports, driving, action shooters, etc...)
What games are there for younger age group? My nephew will play anything, cuz he has no idea regardless, as long as he holding a controller and the screen is full of color and moving objects! My neice on the other hand is not as gullible. She currently has Mickey's Racers and Namco Museum, but I need more games for her! Isn't there a Barbie, Cinderella, Snow White, Princess, Power Puff Girls, etc?????? DAMN! someone please help me! I feel bad for her...

PSone has a Blues Clues game thats very good, Bob the Builder, Miss Spider's Tea Party, and a few other games that are targeted for that age group.
The Humongous Entertainment titles like Freddy Fish and Pajama Sam also had a couple of PSone releases and are great for young children.
Go with the PSone. The N64 really has nothing for a 5 year old.

There are a bunch of decent games for young kids on both systems, but certainly more for the PSX. If you want to go with the N64 though, Mario Kart is pretty good for young kids. Can't really get stuck so not as much frustration. Any of the Nintendo brand games are actually pretty good (Mario, Donkey Kong, maybe not Zelda).
Plus, N64's are more durable than the PSX. As are carts over CDs. The N64 is also cheaper (its 24.99 at EB and like 29.99 at gamestop). I think N64 games cost more though.

My six year old son has the following which I would recommend for young kids: Pokemon Stadium I/II, Mario 64, Kirby, Super Smash Brothers (good for kids of all ages), Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie. For recommendations and reviews, check out IGN at http://ign64.ign.com/choice_all.html
Zelda is good, but might be too complicated for young kids. My son also enjoys Tony Hawk Pro Skater on his Gamecube -- I noticed there was a couple of versions for N64. BTW, in case you didn't know, Conker is more of an adult title.

I would think a 5 year old would enjoy the games I listed above on the PSone a heck of a lot more.
