Are you talking about real radio stations that stream online?

Or things like winamps radio, or programs like spinner.com?

I usualy browse through all the winamp "radio" stations and spinner is pretty good with their program.

But for actual radio stations, I listen to the local stations, though they have stopped streaming lately.

www.shoutcast.com has everything under the sun. Use winamp for it.

I use shoutcast too.

Though that jazzradio.net has pretty good jazz playing.

In the past, I've used Spinner. But am checking out shoutcast at the moment for the first time.

BBC radio has a great variety to pick from.

Sirius satellite radio lets you listen to all their streams for free.

for local stuff try 98online.com just go click on listen live and get a great rock station. best variety in my opinion hard rock, classic rock, rap metal, ect.

Pretty much the only one I listen to is www.woxy.com

I use I Heart Radio to listen to 94.5 The Buzz out of Houston in the mornings, but only for the Rod Ryan Show then I switch to Sirius.

I'm a big TuneIn fan myself. The #1 reason is because it has WRAS\Album 88 (Georgia State's radio station) and WREK (Georgia Tech's radio station). It also has KCRW and some good online-only options (Soma.fm is online-only, right?). There are also TuneIn apps for my phone, tablet, TV and my WDTV, so there aren't many devices in my house that CAN'T get TuneIn. Of course, I created a TuneIn account, so I get the same presets on all these devices. Oh, and I have TuneIn Pro on my tablet, so I can set up a timer to record one particular show on Album 88 (Synthicide). It's always worked well for me, although AFAIK, no one's been able to figure out how to copy the recorded files to a different device. It used to be they were just mp3 files with a .TIR extension, so you could just rename it and move it to a different device. A while back they changed something, and that doesn't work any more.

One thing I don't like about TuneIn is that the number of stations seems to be shrinking. Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) stopped streaming outside the UK, as did another big UK station (BBC? Capital FM? I can't remember which). And one day I wanted to listen to a specific show on an Atlanta talk radio station; the station won't allow TuneIn to stream its feed, so I tried the live stream on their website, which flat-out didn't work. I had to listen to the previous day's show (cut into a "podcast") with the station's shitty streaming player, 'cos they don't offer downloads or offer it on iTunes. Not all of this is TuneIn's fault, of course... but it once seemed like TuneIn had EVERY STATION ON EARTH, and now it's just MANY STATIONS ON EARTH.

So, Live365 shut down yesterday. I estimate that I have at least 20-30 albums of bands I'd never heard of until discovering them on Live365. I especially loved the "Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs" station.

Guess I'm gonna have to go somewhere else for my powerpop.

Yeah, that was a real bummer. I didn't even find out the service was shutting down until a few days before it ended (the e-mail sent to advise the webcasters that they were likely shutting down at the end of January got filtered to my junk/spam folder and I didn't see it until last Thursday).

I know I made it a point to play lesser known bands a lot. Probably 1/4 of the songs on my playlists were from bands that never hit it big, but had a lot of great material.

Has TuneIn pulled the plug on all RadioTune Stations?

Music from a subscription record service for stores and such used as background music, ranging from the 50s through the 70s. Only downside is it's in mono.
