"Mercedes Benz" by Janis Joplin and "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes. I can't these kind of raspy and scratchy voices; they're worse than hearing fingernails on a chalkboard.

"Copacabana" by Barry Manilow...this song was on in an elevator the other day and was stuck in my head for at least 2 days.

you people have just listed all the songs that are stuck in my head frequently I have the bad habit of cycling from one bad song to another - especially if they sound similar or if they have a similar tempo or even just a few similar notes - grr

All this proves a point:

If you can get that "HOOK", that thing that grabs the listener, then it won't matter how bad the song is you WILL get in the listener's mind and they'll have hard time getting it out.

Everybody sing: "It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small, small world."

Which is even more annoying if you can't get the image of thousands of can-canning Dutch dolls out of your head either.

Well my most hated list as of the moment is:

1. New No Doubt song that goes Boys Say..
2. POD I feel so alive or whatever song.

Those songs are just terrible, and played so often, it's hard not to get them stuck in your head. Me and my friends will just IM each other sometimes and mention just the chorus of the song to put it in the other's head, and thereby ruining their day.

I feel so alive for the very first time.... HAHA You're welcome.

First thing that came to mind when seeing the thread title. Also have to mention that Lambchop theme song that goes something like: "This is the song that doesn't end. Yes, it goes on and on, my friend. Some people started singing it not knowing what it was and it goes forever just because... This is the song that doesn't end. Yes, it goes on and on, my friend.
