REVIEW VIOLENT COP by Beat Takesi
Can someone tell me what the region 1 release of the japanese film 'violent cop' is like? The region 2 version is poorly subtitled (some dialogues have no subtitles!!) and some shots have characters heads missing. The region 2 release is by MIA. Thanks.

I assume the Region 1 you are talking about would be the Fox Lorber disc. Its pretty unimpressive, barebones, and I dont even think it had a menu. The transfer was pretty weak, soft picture, with some ghosting, but they did give it a price drop about a year ago, so if you are a die-hard Beat fan, you may want to give it a try.
