Re: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Superbit

I recently purchased Desperado (Superbit) and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the transfer in terms of picture and sound.

I would like to get Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Superbit) but haven't been able to find much in the way of reviews. Does anyone have any opinions??

Also, am I right in saying that the disc is Anamorphic?

Thanks,
Sohail.

Anamorphic of cource, better sound and better picture then any other version. Great movie, with a point, action is there, story is there, great actors in Chow Yun Fat, and Michelle Yeoh, excellent DVD

I agree

It's excellent. GREAT picture and sound. It's a more subtle example of excellent DTS sound--unlike, say, Desperado Superbit, which is great but hardly subtle--but excellent nonetheless. And a great film. Highly recommended.
