Was BALTO any good?
I was wondering how good it was? How does the animation compare to other films? Unfortunately the DVD is listed as being in "Full-Frame." Does anybody recall if BALTO had an OAR greater than 1.85:1? Any thoughts?

Saw it on VHS a few years (pre DVD player days), and if I recall the animation was pretty decent. There is a chase through some ice caverns that is very cool...
Can't speak for OAR...

...just happened to watch (parts of) this movie on TV, recently... it ain't Disney, I can tell you that much! ...a fairly interesting story marred (for me!) by decidedly sub-par animation... small kids may like it well enough, though...

Check out this recent discussion of the OAR. I think BALTO is a pretty good animated movie. But I won't buy it in fullframe.
EDIT: Whoops. I just came back here and realized that I never added the link as I intended. Sorry, here it is:
