Memento - Import disc has different edition

I notified by a friend that bought an import magazine telling about the brazilian release of MEMENTO DVD where the history is edited in reversed way ?!?! Any comments?

He is probably talking about the Easter egg which allows you to play the movie in chronological order. I believe the same feature will be on the R2 release version. The original movie will be the same as the original release.

Though this sounds like a cool idea, I don't see the point. The backwards narrative is one of the things that made this movie unique, and once you have seen it and understood what is going on, why would you want to watch it 'straight'?

Though it may be useful for Joe Six packs - think about it.

'I like maah goddam movies to fill the whole frickin' screen AND start at the beginning.........'
