I rented this one and enjoyed it. It's a kind of folk fable beautifully and colorfully(except for some black and white scenes) filmed with excellent acting and a moving story. The score is very nice, but after a while I really got tired of the repetition of the same theme over and over. If I remember correctly, just trailers for extras. Definitely worth a look but I passed on buying it.

One of the best films of the year. It is at once a simple love story and a powerful reminder of the values that tradition and culture install in us. It is about the type of things that our current culture is slowly losing, such as respect for parents, respect for teachers, and a respect to a way of life that may not seem modern, but in its own way has its meanings and reasons.
The only thing which hampers it a bit is the score, which is overused. Still, this is a minor flaw to an otherwise beautifully shot and excellently acted film. It sits proudly on my DVD shelf
