So I bought this game Clive Barker's Undying for 5 bucks at Target today.

I didn't get a chance to play it until tonight (about 3:00 AM).

It's got a creepy ambience to it (especially at 3 AM with all the lights off and everyone asleep).

So anyway, I'm running around this game with my six shooter and suddenly I see something jumping out to attack me.

With cat-like reflexes (and a little yelp, not unlike the one the dude did in Shaft when they were in the diner and Shaft flinched at him), I turned and quickly shot...




my reflection in the mirror.

I've had enough of that game for tonight.

yeah - that game is too creepy... I've been playing ALone in the Dark for Dreamcast but I can't play it alone so my roommate and I are adventuring through it together with the lights on... we're pu$$ies. Undying gets even creepier than that... I haven't been able to finish it... I'm waiting for 5.1 surround and my new computer so I can really scare the pants off myself.

I was actually thinking of putting it over there, but that whole first page is x-box and game cube.

Plus I figured more people over here would laugh at my candy-assedness.

well you don't have to worry about xbox gamecube forum... you can post whatever you want about video games in there. Don't be afraid. There's one or two PC gamers in there.

The funniest thing that ever happened to me was when I was playing eye of the beholder(old game i know ) I had been playing for a long time and it was late. i was very tired and not really looking for a surprise. I went around a corner and this big black spider jumped out at me making a loud noise. I was startled and moved back quickly spilling a drink and giving voice to a sound of alarm

When I was walking towards the vent in that flooded room. The lights were off, I could barely see anything. I smashed the vent open, and then turned on my flashligh and BAM!!!!! Freaking head crab jumps right at me. I jump back out of my chair and fall on my ass screaming. And then I run back to my chair and shoot it and then get into the vent. BAM!!!! Another head crab and I jump up again and I shoot it. Then I save the game and exit. I couldn't handle playing that game for the rest of the week.

I think I should go install it again.

Yeah, those parts freaked me out too, especially in the add-on, Blue Shift.

Just don't mention Silent Hill or Aliens vs Predator. At night, alone, with all the lights turned off and the sound all the way up... Jesus Christ.

I did the same thing playing the first level of Duke Nuken 3D. ( I walked into the restroom at the movie theater and unloaded several rounds into the mirror before I figured out I was shotting my reflection.
