Ok, so i've decided to get a PS2 soon because i'm sold on MGS 2: SOL (and quite a few other games but that's another story). I've read pages and pages of information regarding PS2. I've seen and heard the hype for this game. The fans are numerous and quick to hype up or defend the game (leading to some very heated conversations). Truly die hard fans. But for the life of me, I can not believe the number of times i've seen these hardcore fans type "MSG2" instead of "MGS2." Hardcore fans of what--Monosodium Glutamate: the sequel?

I've got not problem if it's just some average joe (or jane) doing it, but when some fanboy (girl) types "Xbox and GCN sucks a$$ (tm), Halo sucks a$$(tm), Rogue Leader sucks a$$(tm), PS2 and MSG2 (sic) is gonna rule!!" that just bugs like no other....

not sure. I hope this is the right thread. after hearing so many good reviews of MSG2 i went into Target to buy it. They did not have it but sent me to baking and sold me MSG (1?)

I poured it into my PS2 and now it does not seem to work anymore
