That is a good idea. Nothing worse that getting a new system and the games are all gone.

Plus it gives a person a reason to buy the system if he/she can see the games out now. There's nothing worse than seeing just 2 or 3 games out when you know a new system is on the way.

I just picked up an X box controller tongiht and I have to say it feels a lot better than the ones in the store. I guess not being attached to the kiosk makes the difference. Any one know when Halo comes out ?

You're absolutely right -- not being bolted down to some kiosk makes a difference.
The controller just feels right in my hands. The GC controller felt too small for me.

About Halo.....it should already be out. Stores have them in stock. I was able to purchase my copy from Software Etc. today. It's just a matter of whether or not the employees are willing to sell them.

Picked up Halo and Rouge tonight at EB and the guy asked me if I had orderd a bundle yet. I told him that I had not and I was going to try my luck at Wal Mart or Best Buy he tells me that Microsoft is going to fine anyone who does not sell the Xbox bundle only I told him whatever and left with my games. It blew my mind he was saying this. I then went to KB and they had a game cube bundle for 399 with any three games. I asked what the extra 50 bucks was for they said because it will be hard to come bye. Oh well.

Well I remember that MS is encouraging retailers (for preorders only) to include at least one first part title in their bundles. Otherwise, retailers bundle because they can, and why sell $400 worth of stuff and hope they buy more from you when you can make them pay 500 to you for sure?

So the MS research was right! Americans do have bigger hands! : P

Finally, there's someone who agrees the size is just right. Although I have smaller hands, I think we just all got used to the years with the smaller controller as the "correct" size.

Not anymore I quit Old Navy and took a job at the Dillards Men's store in Highland mall. I get paid almost a full 3 bucks more an hour at Dillards and never work past 9:30pm when at old navy i would never get to leave before 11:30.

And the dillards men store at highland is right next to the EB there... seems no matter where I work I always have a EB right next to me hehehe

The only guy I trust at the Barton Creek EB is the manager, Ben. The rest of the people there are not that bright.

I love how the XBox controllers cost $39.99/each. Nice one, Microsoft. Include 4 ports on the console and then charge $40 for each controller. That'll make up for the cost of the system.

Only five bucks more than the PS2 and you do not need multi tap. Seems fair to me.

Those are such bogus stories they were shoveling 'ya. That's why it's so important to be a knowledgeable consumer. I'm glad you walked.

Yea the funny thing was I think the kid behind the counter was thinking it was the truth. The only time I will do a bundle is if you save money. Last year I picked up a PS2 from WalMart.com for like 434 with three games and the Wal Mart let me exchange three of the games. Oh well I just hope that Wal Mart the store has some for me on Wed night.
