I just started playing this game on my gameboy pocket. I purchased the game for only $2, and I must say that it was a steal and a half! This game is totaly awesome, as are all Zelda games! It is just nice to see that there are a few gameboy games that actually live up to the system's potential. I am hooked, just beat level 4 and recieved the surf harp, now some ghost is haunting me. What is everyone's favorite Zelda game? I hear the SNES one is awesome, but I have never gotten the chance to play it.

I'll have to be honest and say Ocarina of Time. By the way, there are two new Zelda games coming out this week for GBC (Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages). Even though I don't have a GBC I am buying them. I am gonna wait to play them on my brand spanking new GBA.

I got up to either the seventh or eighth dungeon on Link's Awakening, then I came up against that boxing kangaroo thing in the dungeon... the f*cking thing kept knocking me back to the beginning of the level every time he youched me, and eventually I just got pissed off with it all.

But when the new Zelda games come out on GBC, I'll probably snap them up and blow the cobwebs off my old Game Boy...

Personally, I prefer Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time - it's just got a lot more replay value, IMO. It didn;t seem like quite as good a game first time through, but I think that was more because it wasn't as "innovative" as Ocarina was; it was basically "more of the same" which, while not a bad thing, wasn;t quite as exciting. But now I've completed them both several times, I still find myself playing Majora's Mask a lot more than Ocarina, there's just a lot more to it, and the sub-quests make up a much more integral part of the game.

I've beat:

Legend of Zelda
Zelda II: Link's Adventure
Link's Awakening
Ocarina of Time

I watched a friend play through Majora's Mask. I've got about 3/4 of the way through Link to the Past twice but still haven't beat it. One day I will stick it out and finish the damn game.

btw Zelda II and Ocarina of Time tie for favorite Zelda game. Zelda II was a great challenge, and Ocarina of Time had so much stuff to do. Link's Awakening was a lot of fun, though.
