If your really into games then you probably already know
that Yards Sales and FleeMarkets are good places
to find older video games.
This weekend i picked up 10 Sega Genesis games
for $10 total $1/each!
All with cases and instructions books including
Strider 1, Altered Beast, Space Harrier 2+ others.
Also i found 6 atari games in boxes for $3- 50cents each.
And Diddy Kong Racing and SW shadows of the empire
for $5/each.
My suggestions would be to goto Community yards
Sales or Fleemarkets where a bunch of people are set
up.
Church Sales are usually good especially
when they sell tables for people to set up at.
Go early to find the deals.
and Allways ask if they will take a lower price.
finally not VG realted but i also got a
486 computer/monitor for $12
).
Post your great deals if youve gotten any!

Agreed--yard sales are great places to find used games, but unfortunately, they are few and far between (at least where I live). Most yard sales are full of the typical stuff--baby clothes, stacks of encyclopedias from the 50's, old National Geographics, gaudy drinking cups and glasses, that kind of thing. Occasionally, though, you get a nice find. I picked up Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PSX last year at a yard sale for $1 (and it included the manual). Unfortunately, that's the rare exception rather than the rule...
