Ok, so we're not getting all the new stuff(that's why i Have a PS2 anyway) but slowly but sureely all the games are coming down in price. WE can get most games under $20, and if you go eBaying...you can probably do better.
god I'm just waiting for SoA to go down in price..

I have been buying like mad. Picking up stuff like Jedi Power Battles and Toyko Extreme Racer 2 for $10. I only paid $25 each for Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2 due to a buy one get one free sale at a local game store. The only major game I am missing right now is Record of the Lodoss War, but I plan to buy it soon.

Where did you find Tokyo Extreme racer 2 for that much!?!?!?! I stopped at CompUSA today and got Jedi Power Battles and Rush 2049 for $10 each, but most games were still $39.99 or higher.

The thing that really sucks is that I really thought they (Sega) were going to "do it right" this time.
At last years "E3", the Sega party that was at the SoHo Club really gave the vibe that they knew what they were doing....
They promoted the price drop, the online gaming, etc.
Too bad... I'll miss them,

On the flipside, new release games are probably going to be sold in VERY limited quantities by the end of the year. And they'll become VERY expensive if you don't pick them up right away.
If it's like the Saturn, it was a nuisance trying to chase down House of the Dead, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Burning Rangers near the end of the system's life.
They were all 1st party titles, but every store only got about 3 copies of each game.

Record of the Lodoss War is rumored to only have 10,000 copies available. Don't know if that is really true since I have seen it at several stores. However, that would make it just like Panzer Dragoon Saga and House of the Dead.

Heh.. I loved the dreamcast back in the day, but now I don't think I even have a reason to own one except I'm sure I'll want to replay Jet Grind Radio one day.
I'm done with fighting games so that cuts a good 50% at least of what the system is useful for.

So many great DC titles amongst the terrific fighters (Soul Calibur, MarvCAP2)
I am still enjoying the imports I picked up
Shenmue II
Headhunter
Evil Twin
DC still lives!

Shenmue I and II are amazing...other good imports are Fire Pro D (an awesome Japanese wrestling game) and Ikaruga, which is also available for the Gamecube. I've got my Dreamcast tricked out in a clear shell (it glows orange when turned on), and I have an extra system just in case this one goes bad. I even got my girlfriend one of the black Sports Edition ones last year, and she plays it all the time!
