Why are there no cartoon endings in Marvel v. Capcom2?
I've had the game for about 3 months now and everytime I play, I get the same ending - regardless of the team combinations.
Strange. All of the prior games seemed to have different endings - that was part of the fun of playing each of the different character combinations.
Am I missing something?

I can appreciate that - but considering I don't have anyone who really comes over that I can play dual player with, the single player aspect of this game is quickly growing tired.
It would have been nice to have a little animation or something as an incentive to master all of the characters. Ah well. Still a great game.

Yeah it sucks on that aspect.
The game play and vs. mode was the main focus here as the combo's were balanced out (uh... yeah sure!) and the buddy system was taken to the total cheese level.

I just plain miss blanka... That loser Zangief that noone plays gets in, but eveybody's favorite green guy (after the Hulk, of course) gets the boot.
But, to get back on topic, I agree: they should have done something at the end. Hell, even a single ending for everyone, as opposed to that boring vortex thingy, would have been preferable. I also don't like it telling me "don't give up, try again" when I beat the thing.

The main reason for no endings in MvsC2 is the sheer amount of characters. There is no possible way they could have endings for each and every character (56!). The huge amount of characters influence can also be seen in the fact that there are barely any stages in the game. About 8 i believe.
