I use a Juno as my isp but there is always lag during online play with nba2k1. I have a cable modem for my pc. Is it possible to use my cable modem for my dreamcast?

It would require a network interface card (nic) or USB port to connect to your cable modem (depending on which type of cmodem you have). If you are experiencing lag it may be a latency issue. The amount of data sent for online games is not very high. However, it is very important that the data arrive in a timely fashion. If your current connection is going over a bunch of hops that slows down the relay. I don't know if there's anyway to tracert on your Dreamcast (I suspect there's not). You might ask for a trial account of an alternate IP to see if it resolves it. Finding an ISP with less hops to get to Seganet will most likely resolve the issue. Maybe even take it to a friend who uses a differnt ISP and test it out.
