It hasn't been announced yet, so it may not be released this year. There could always be a possibility around the holiday time, but Universal hasn't announced much beyond the "initial" Release list...Its a highly wanted title so it should come out sooner or later though..

The mastering is done, so I would expect this sooner rather than later.

If there was, don't you think there would be a thread on the top page regarding this?

Looking forward to this...I'll be disappointed if it's not out for the holidays.

I guess I'm not in a rush for this since I have them on DVD and HD-DVD anyways.

But if it's the BR that you are waiting for, I can't blame you.

Is that sort of post even necessary?

If you don't have anything to contribute to the conversation...don't contribute to the conversation.

Uhhh... Nothing's been announced, and there's nothing wrong with the masters for either Identity or Supremacy.

This may be one of the very, very few titles which I will end up owning on all three formats.

That's how I feel. It's kinda nice to have some titles still exclusive to HD-DVD, even if I have gone Blu now, too.

Identity looked kind of soft in some parts and there was noticeable ringing in a few shots. I think it could benefit from a new transfer. I like how Supremacy looks but feel it could benefit from a better encode to eliminate some... Well it's not really macroblocking but there's something similar that appears on solid colors. Look at the scene where Bourne walks up to the red BOSCH sign (just before he sets up his sniper rifle) to talk to Pamela Landy for the first time.

a new master and a new transfer are two different things.

I actually don't think the masters of either film are at fault. I just think the transfers were so-so in parts. That's why I think a new transfer would be all that's needed.

Me too. Maybe. Bourne is the only reason why I'm still hanging on to my Toshiba A2. Everything else, I can be patient for the Blu-ray version.
