after just purchasing my first iPod and dl'ing "Juno" from the 2-disc set, i am warming up to these digital copies. $8.00 does beat the $9.99 iTunes would have it for and it downloads in minutes from disc rather than hours, but still torn as them calling it the "Special Edition" rather than a disc of content for SE.

i'm getting the 6-disc Rambo set regardless to fit into my SteelBook and now looking forward to dl'ing the digital copy.

also, surprised at the great quality of the movies from the few i've dl'd thusfar.

Last year I bought a Maxtor "OneTouch III"; their mini (2.5 inch) hard drive.

I wanted a smaller sized drive since I have one already in an aluminium slim case (USB powered) from Tiger Direct. Looks very cool. I needed a second external drive.

It is TRUE DirkBelig.

The case on it was cheap-ass plastic that was meant to hold in the heat. I opened that puppy and saw this poorly designed enclosure. It was covered with this filler hold the HD in place. The thing must act as insulation. Unless I'm wrong, this stuff looks like big patches of weather stripping. It took forever to take that crap off so it could fit into the better case.

I haven't had any problems with it. I've run the thing for hours at a time, it just gets slighly warm. The case acts as a heat sink.

I suppose such a thing would be good (original case) for places like the Arctic where it gets super cold. Having a drive that over heats would be a good thing there.
