These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; I'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

Future Shop - Beowulf steelbook

Best Buy: Good Luck Chuck free t-shirt

Transworld will have an exclusive steelbook of Beowolf, just got the box inserts for it today at work. Doesn't come out for a bit though, but thought I'd share.

When is the release date?

According to amazon.com Beowulf is scheduled to be released on February 26, 2008.

TWEC stores are also supposed to have a free poster with Good Luck Chuck, for whatever thats worth...

Wal-Mart and Sam's Club have Good Luck Chuck with a bonus disc in a separate case. It contains:

-"Good Luck Chuckles" Featurette
-"Real-Life Chuck" Featurette
-"Eleanor Skepple" Featurette
-Alternate Scenes
-Extended Scenes
-Music Montage (2 Songs)

While the separate SD disc is a store exclusive, all the content appears to be in high def on the Blu-ray version sold in other stores.
