Pretty damn funny. Why didn't Jack have to use coins for the first call he made at the payphone?

16:9 in 1994. Who would have thought that Fox was leading the technological revolution?

Look closely, the actor does put his hand towards the coin slot.

I would watch a full season of this.

Paying by the hour for the Internet, don't we all miss those days.

Excellent! That was better than some real episodes of 24 I've seen.

The Dot Matrix Printer was great!! I think I actually have a box of that type of paper laying around the house.

I remember those good old days with AOL and the chat rooms back in the early 90's.

Wow, I guess I'm the only person who didn't think it was funny.

"Ha ha! Technology used to be more primitive than it currently is! That is inherently humorous!"

I'm actually curious what camera they used to shoot this. It looks amazing.

Funny stuff, as well.

What was funny for me was that thats exactly what it was like back then. I know i'm not the only one that used to pay by the hour, or hated tearing those hole strips off the printer paper, or got kicked off the internet when someone picked up the phone, or got a busy signal trying to call someone while they were online, or have a geocities page. The list goes on and on.

I didn't really laugh all that much over it either. It felt like a later season Mad TV skit trying too hard.

Didn't it used to be by the minute, not by the hour?

You're getting the Internet confused with your special phone calls!
