The Digital Bits Quietly Updated Its Reasons Why Blu Ray Will Win
WOW! Some great analysis here, don't bother to read the main paragraph, just read the fun yellow text at the top. According to Bill, everything HD DVD has done in the last few months means zilch....
My question remains..does Bill Hunt get paid for working on the Blu Ray backed Web sites?????

No one really believes him anymore.
He will bash everything negative and positive about HD DVD, but if anything bad happens to Blu-ray (FF and DAT not working) he will "congratulate" them on such a fast, firmware update, lol. Simply amazing.

I like his website but he needs to give his obvious hard on
for Blu Ray a rest
Both formats are great and to each his own. I current only have an hd player and I'm very pleased with my choices

Can anyone explain why this thread should be closed? Mr. Hunt's original selection of Blu-Ray was a big deal because people used to respect his opinions, if he has updated his reasons, they are worthy of examination.

In addition, the first Steven Spielberg title to appear in either high-definition format has been announced exclusively for Blu-ray: Close Encounters of the Third Kind from Sony on 11/3.
20th Century Fox and MGM have announced - and begun to release - a massive slate of new and catalog Blu-ray Discs, including such major titles as the Die Hard films and Independence Day.
Disney has also announced that its first classic animated title, Sleeping Beauty, will be released on Blu-ray only in 2008.
Blu-ray hardware prices are expected to be as low as $399 by Christmas (and possibly lower).

Maybe I should have posed my question a bit more directly:
Why are you regularly checking a site you know you disagree with?
I can think of one reason, as evidenced by this thread.
Is there another?

I think that thet topic should be open for well-reasoned discussion, as it is helpful to those of us who haven't yet bought into either HD format.
(Though when I finally do, I'll likely get both formats if they're both still alive and warring.)

Seems to me you shouldn't even be on the road to see the accident, knowing that you don't like where the road leads.
