The Darkness

I can't wait for it to come out. Been frantically searching around the net to find more info about it.

Saw the article in EGM this month. Looks like another FPS...albeit a pretty one.

Seeing as there are some Tool references in the screenshots in EGM, I'm even more interested

Tool the band? Do you have links to those screenshots? That's awesome if true.

The other one shows a tool store, and the sign uses the font that Tool used back for Undertow.

I'm definitely interested in reviews on this game since it is by the same crew that did the Chronicles of Riddick game on the Xbox which was awesome.

It is supposed to have a decent multiplayer mode where you can switch back and forth between being a Darkling and being human which could lead to some interesting level design and matches.

Haven't seen any reviews yet, but I did read an interview with designers, and they say it will play a lot differently than Riddick:

Suprmallet -- Are you a fan of the comic? That's definitely part of the reason I'm stoked.

I'm stoked because it is from the folks that did Riddick. One of my top 5 games for the Xbox. Never seen the comic.

Personally i thought the Darkness comic was ok - however the spinoff First Magdelena was pretty good.

I've also heard that there's a comic book that specifically goes with the game.
