Stick with 720p or go with 1080p?
There has been alot of dbate on these forums regarding 1080p and if its really worth the extra cost. I have always been one of the naysayers as I can barly tell the difference in picture quality on my friends 108op set and my 720p Pioneer, both at about the same viewing distance. Well I just stumbled across a really nice chart that goes over screen sizes and viewing distances and tells you if the upgrade from 720p to 1080p is actually worth it. Though some people on here might get some use out of it.

Very interesting chart really and one that people should take a good look at before buying a new TV. According to this chart I was absolutly correct when I said that there was very little if any difference between my set and my buddies 1080p set at the viewing distances we watch them from. Both are 50" and both viewing distances are roughly 9-10 feet. The human eye just cant tell the difference between the two at that distance. I would have to sit about 5-7 feet away to be able to tell the difference.
Anyways enjoy, its a nice pice of info to have.
PS..
