This looks great for some reason (and Kristen Bell looks great with black hair)

It just got pushed back to August, was initially in April.

Oddly, they don't discuss the reason in the trailer as to why they want to steal the film, unless it was deleted from the movie .
Spoiler:
One of the teens is dying of cancer and won't live to May 1999, and therefore wouldn't be able to see the movie, thus they decide to break into the Lucas Ranch to see it

This looks like a fun rental or a good lazy August afternoon movie. I think it was smart to push it past April.

Could Kevin Spacey's name be any bigger in the credits?

That's really fucked up because
Spoiler:
what if someone who really, really wants to see this is dying of cancer and won't make it to that date?

Oh man. The dumping ground. Looks like it's just being put out to pasture now. Looking forward to it since it's kristen bell and all. But man, that's not a good sign.

They were looking for extras for this movie and I went to the casting call like last early fall. I didn't end up doing it though.

Why dont they just move it to 2009 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Episode I?

They just re-shot parts of the movie a few weeks ago, despite the fact that it did quite well in test screenings.

There are actually reports that they are being forced to take out the plot point of
Spoiler:
one of the main characters being diagnosed with terminal cancer, and is the reason for the plot being put into motion

The film has been pulled from it's January 2008 release date, with a March or even June 2008 release likely.

After searching a bit I found what was supposed to be the reason for the delay...

"The movie has been delayed to add a cameo with Kevin Smith and sound effects from the ''Star Wars'' films, which were authorized by George Lucas himself after he saw an early cut and approved.
"

Don't see anything linking Smith to the film so far but who knows. Still want to see it but my hopes of it being enjoyable slow dwindle a bit with each passing month.

Kristen Bell. Seems funny but if it were Jessica Alba instead I wouldn't be saying this. Period. Kristen is the end-all bomb of incredibly talented, impossibly cute, insanely sexual actresses on this here planet known as Mars..errr..EARTH yeah, thats the ticket!

Also if interested (not related to Fanboys in anyway) just thought it was a good clip about a year before the Mars debut
