I'd love to have these if they don't take the foolscreen route.

I wonder if they still have the stupid error where part 2 freezes for a minute or so halfway through & the audio keeps going. I know I read about this elsewhere. Cheap bootlegs that aren't really from Australia. Same for a good chunk of all the other Fullmoon Kangaroo DVDs. Quality is supposed to be on par with a decent vhs source for 1-3.

Kinda strange to have a release date like this. The box set has been available for quite a long time on Full Moon's site...as well as the Puppetmaster box from time to time.

All Full Moon movies are fullscreen they were shot for video, a couple got theatrical releases (Puppet Master, Robot Jox, Shrunken Heads) but my assumption is they were matted. So no "fool screen" here, that's the AOR

BUT, these are video sourced not great looking releases.

In the mean time, Koch has recently released a dvd called I, Vampire: Trilogy of Bood. It looks like it might be an abridged version of the first three Subspecies movies.

Yes...I know this has come up before on another thread...

These are marketed by Full Moon themselves thru a non existent Austrailian video company. I suspect that the video rights to the film are tangled mess so this was the most expedient way of getting the discs out.

The are not the best quailty but I'm happy to have them anyway. I wonder why they didn't source them from the laserdiscs?

Were these movies recently released seperately? While looking at these online the cover art has changed a bit from the original releases years ago.

Does anyone know if these movies in the box set are different than the original releases?
I already have a couple of these but not the whole set.
I can get these seperately, but I don't want to if the movies in the box set
are better quality.

Thank you. I won't have to dump the ones I already have to get the box set.
I'll just continue to get them seperately
