How to clean LCD HDTV screen?

My daughter decided to leave her fingerprints on our 50" HDTV. Are there any products/recommendations on how to safely remove things like that?

Your owner's manual should have proper instructions documented, with sequential procedures to clean the screen, without permanent exterior damage.

Get that stuff by Monster Cable with a microfiber cloth or at least a microfiber cloth.

Also mentioned here.

No! No! No! $22.00, including sales tax for a Monster Cable cleaning kit? That's ludicrous. Using an expensive cleaning solution is totally unessential. According to my manual, I clean my LCD screen with a damp microfiber cloth as recommended, which can be purchased for least 3 to $4.00 at the most. Mild soap (use only if extremely dirty) and dry with a soft cloth. A very inexpensive home remedy, equivalently does the job sufficient, like most cleaning kits.

I know it's a bit pricey (I did see it for around $15 somewhere in US) but for that it will stay clean for a long time; unless kids mess it up again of course! Best stuff I've ever used.

3M makes microfiber cloths for good prices, check your local radio shack or staples/officemax for them. i haven't seen big ones, most of them were made for computer monitors but they should work fine with the lcd tv

I thought I saw some microfiber cloths sold in packs at Target recently in their auto care department. I suppose there's no difference is there?

How 'bout Swiffer cloths? I imagine they'd be good for dust pick-up.
